So it’s been kind of a crazy week. First of all it’s been over a hundred basically every day which has been awful. Then on top of that the girl who’s staying with me (I posted her pic a few days ago) went missing on July 4th. Apparently she decided to declare her own Independence Day lol (I can joke about this now because she’s back). Anyway I spent the last couple of days driving all over looking for her and calling the police and the like. As I think I mentioned before she’s German and so I guess she got lost and didn’t know how to tell anyone where she lived and she didn’t have any money on her. I’m glad she’s back now though now she and her bf will be leaving in a few days when Di gets back into town.

This is the girl half of the couple that’s subletting Di’s room. Her name is Silke which is German I think. She’s nice enough, though for some reason she doesn’t always join in with me when I shout greetings to people as they walk by (which I think is just the nice friendly thing to do no?)

Last week I mentioned work, but I didn’t say anything about what I do. I actually work as an aide in a mental health facility. I can’t usually take pictures at work, but I have a few of me with co-workers or old patients from outings and stuff that I’ll post. This is one of me and my boss. He can be a bit of a grouch but is generally pretty cool.

I don’t know if I should post this (hope the boss isn’t reading!) but I found this picture from this one time years ago when I got arrested. It was a ridiculous misunderstanding about (shame face) going to the bathroom in public. I really don’t want to say anything more about it than that. I will say that the cops were suuuuuuper nice (you know after the part where they arrested me). And thank god Di came and bailed me out quickly (though not before taking a picture) because it was soooooooooo gross in there!!!!!
